Building Blocks of Typography

During first year tutors asked us to write 300 hundred word explanation for most common typography terms and then illustrate them accordingly in a poster. At the time I was reading Josef Müller-Brockmann's book on grid systems and took great inspiration from his clear and crisp layout design and ease with which the message is communicated to viewer.
